Talkatime and to listen can´t stand loneliness

In the office a man tells his workmate where he is spending his holiday.

Man: “This year I´m going to the countryside. I can´t go to the seaside, my wife doesn´t like water swim because she´s afraid of drowing!
WM: “Doesn´t she know how to swim?
Man: “She knows how to swim, however, she can´t close her mouth for too long.”

“Those who are always seeking the companionship of anyone who may be available, as they find it necessary to discuss their own affairs with others, no matter who it may be. They are very unhappy if they have to be alone for any length of time.” – Dr. Edward Bach

The Heather person suppers of lacle of kindness and needs that they pay attention permanetly. He or she talks of his/herself, telling his/her, and they need to be the center of attention. They don´t give any space to others and they a constantly look for people to listen to them. They stick to others because the hate loneliness and they usually obtain the contrary effect, let´s say people run away from them.
This state could be permament or temporary- this is when the person looks for somebody that can help him/her.
Clinically we observe that the talkatime is associated to athe increase of consumption. You can low taking the medicine. In some hypondriacs cases you may prescribe Heather.

Character:  Susan (Mafalda´s friend)

Movie:

“The Ferrars lady died the night from 16 to 17 September, a Thursday. They sent me to … at 8 o´clock in the morning of Friday 17 th.

My presence was no good at all, it has been hours she had died. Some minutes after 9 am I was returning home. I was opening the door with my keys and I got delayed hanging my coat in the entrance hall from the dening-room came a soft noise of cups with some coughs of my sister Caroline.

- Is it you, James?

(Stupid question, because who could it be. To be honest, my sister Caroline was the reason for my delay. The ….for Kipling is 60 and go and face it. Caroline knows everything only staying at home. I don´t know how she manages, but she does I believe that the servants and the suppliers are a kind of secret pólice. When she goes out it´s not to get information, but to spread it. In this field she is also an expert.

He doubted about her last characteristic. Whatever he told Caroline about Mrs.Ferrars death, eveerybody in the villaje would know it in an hour and half. Due to my profession I am naturally respectful and reserved, so I try to hide my sister the news I can. The more I hide the better. However, she manages to know everything. While he was still in the entrance hall, thinking about all this, he heard Caroline voice calling.

Why are you doing there?

Why don´t you come and have breakfast?

I´m coming hanging my coat. He went into the dining- room and I sat in front of a fried egg with bacon. They phoned you earl, Caroline said.

Yes from king´s Paddock. Mrs Ferrars
I know, said my sister.

How do you know?

Anita has told me. Anita is the maid, good girl, but terribly talkative!

There was a pause my sister´s nose went up as it usually happens when there´s something that interests her.
And? She said.

Bad luck, nothing to do, she died sleeping.

I know, my sister replied.

You can´t know it. I didn´t know it before I got there and I haven´t told anybody. If Anita knows it, she must be futur.

It wasn´t Anita who told me it was the milkman. The Ferras cook told him about it.

I´m already said that it is no neccesary for Caroline to go out to get information. She is sitting at home, and all the information comes to her.

My sister insisted: What did she die of? A heart attack?

Hastn´t the milkman told you? I asked sarcasticly.

She doesn´t mind his brother being sacastic. She is serious and answer: He didn´t know, she explained. (Agatha Christie, “The murder of Roger Ackroyd”)

Interview to Dr. Bach

N.W- Where were you born?

D.B- I was born in Mosley, Birmingham.September 1866.

N.W- What’s your education?

D.B- I went to Birmingham medical School. I was 20 years old.I also worked at my father’s metal welding shop. To be honest with you, I did not like it at all, however, I only did it to pleased him. Now, looking back in time, I understand that it was quite a learning experience for me. I’ve got invaluable knowledge about human nature, as well as a deeper sense about the people´s approach toward health. I saw this process, first hand, at my father’s factory watching the workers struggling for their rights. Actually, this was a major issue affecting their lives, due to the fact that workers health care was almost non existent, and beyond unaffordable for them. Also, keep in mind that British labour legislation at the time, neither would protect workers rights, nor it would provide health care benefits coverage for them.
